EMOHC TEN COMMANDMENTS (January 2016)

Patron Saint of EMOCH’s is St Tarcisius

  1. Dress: Modestly and Professionally

  2. Arrive: 20 minutes early, find replacement if needed, replaced if 10 min. late

  3. Etiquette: After communion give bowls to priest to set on altar

  4. Eye Contact: Make eye contact with each person coming to communion

  5. Blessings: No verbal blessing, put cross on forehead with opposite hand

  6. Stacking: Never stack or carry more than two sacred vessels

  7. Spills: Retrieve a purificator to absorb the spill

  8. Nave: Never leave the Nave, no giving communion in social hall

  9. Purify: Cups after communion, Linen after Mass, use soft cloth for vessels

  10. Clean-up: Everything off Credence Table except candles, put away/clean vessels

            Be prepared to administer the sacrament to parishioners with special needs
